After buying a KVM mod. KVM3004 from buy.com. I waited 3 weeks for it to be shipped. This came with a $15.00 Rebate; I filled out the rebate form and submitted it when I finally received the KVM. I submitted all that was required BUT I did not insert the purchase date on the form... It was on the receipt where I purchased it from buy.com. I was confused by the delay and left this off. I was unaware of this omission. I waited 3 months for my rebate, they did not contact me about this omission (they had my E-mail address). I was taking to Henson and he stated out of all they had sold the expected several hundred purcasers to be unhappy. They also came back to me about THREATS... I told them I was going to post to the web about them, Here are the E-mails

I have look at your original paperwork and find out the PURCHASE DATE is missing. Again, a form consider to be completed is when all field are filled in, except where it said "optional". The only optional filed on the form will be the PHONE NO. You have the right to omit this field but you must fill out all other fields in order to be qualify for the rebate. I can fax or email you a scanned copy of the form that we received upon request.
I am sorry that we have to follow close to the policy set by the company and to be fair to other consumers, we have to follow all the Terms & Conditions on the rebate form, too.

Henson, I guess it is a matter of common sense. I bought paid and sent in this rebate. No, the date is not on this form. But it was on my receipt; if your company was honorable this would be taken care of and bad feelings would not have gotten to this point. As it is, I would never buy another product from your company. I will state on all the sites I can about this matter. I am making a report to usacomplaints.com.Com at this time and will continue till this is solved to my satisfaction, ($15.00 please). This and all Email will be on this site for all to see.

Once again, you want to speak of moral and good faith. This is a company where policy and rules are the constitution of its employees and its actions. The rebate department is there to follow its policy, I'm only here to report and verify and assist in everyway.
Once again, companies do not take threats and obvious it is not a company's nature. We have good faith and honesty to all consumers and I have to apologize that you're one of the few that came out of a bad outcome.
I understand there's plenty of site teaching you what to do and where to report. I do agree some companies are taking advantage and I also do know some manufactures personally where they are not but still are being accused to be taking advantage. The web does not show justice to you nor for manufacture. If you wish to post all places then I shall not stop since my employees nor my rebate center regret to what some of you did not do nor follow.
I have to appreciate your business and hope you enjoy the KVM, on the other hand I apologize for the outcome.

This is a rebate rip-off OK I did leave off the date but it was on my receipt. Common sense and a honorable company would see this and make it right. As you see they are not honorable and will rip you off if they can. As you also see doing the right thing to them is a threat. I just want what is mine nothing more. There are great company's out there, Don't buy from Zonet.
