Ripoff does not honor service warranties or contracts!

Is there anyone out there who would like to join a class action lawsuit against Gateway computers for selling service contracts and then refusing to honor them by saying the "parts aren't available", promising multiple shipping dates, and never sending the item? During one of my many conversations with tech support, I found out that they have customers that have been waiting since July for "parts". This is unacceptable!!!

The motherboard crashed on my computer crashed August 22. I was promised a new motherboard within 3 to 5 days. With each promise, the date was extended because they don't make my particular motherboard anymore (1.7). I even offered to buy a new one, with the shipping and installation, at their expense - no go!!!

I have an online business with Halloween being my best time of the year. I am disabled and unable to work a "normal" job, so the income I make with my computer is it. I stand to loose over $50,000 because all my money is tied up in inventory so there is nothing left for a "new" computer to sell it with.

I've dealt with the top Vice President of Customer Support, Kristin Huddleson, with only broken promises. Now, she won't return my calls. Her "message" line is 1-800-846-2040, extension 28890.

How can a company get away with treating their customers like this??
