Wanted to have service to new apartment, was told could not do so until I paid a previous balance that was owed. So when I received my taxes in late January, early February I paid the balance due from previous service and was able to schedule the install. A month after I obtained the service, somebody calls me and says that I owed money, I explained that I had paid the previous balance & it was confirmed that I had no balance due, that I could not get the new service until I did so. She did not want to hear it, argued with me & was very rude. I paid by money order at the Middletown, NY drop box, when I called after payment was made, the rep checked I had no past balance anymore & she was then able to proceed with scheduling the install. Now they are still calling me saying I owe & I cannot get your service. I dont want to use another company, but looks like I have no choice if this is not resolved.
