TW has been, literally, a nightmare. We have had service techs out at least twice a year. Sometimes three. One occasion we had the tech tell us the wiring from the pole to our house was "new"..interesting as the wire had the old paint trim color on it... Color was change 20 years prior. But last year I replaced an HDDVR box which was faulty. While in the Ware Ct office I was told I could update my contract although it still had another year. Even though I cannot use the digital telephone, by adding the service and could take advantage of it later, it would lock me in for another 2 years at the low rate. I was also told if there was a reason for us having to cancel, it would be a $150 fee BUT there are occasions when the fee can be waved. We decided... Lock it in again.
I got our latest TW bill and the price had jumped by $30. When I called to ask why, I was told our contract has expired. And may I add if I could have reached through the phone I would slapped the surly tone out of the voice of the jerk at the other end. Then was told I had to go to a TW office in person to resolve the problem as they didn't have any records later then 6 months prior. I was given the location of a TW office... I said... No I would rather go to the Ware Ct. At which time I was told... Oh but the other office is closer. Well perhaps, BUT the Ware Ct office is easier. 98% freeway. Service had the nerve to argue with me. WTH.
So, this morning I drive down to the office and what a total arrogant, snotty, demeaning beoytch. I was treated like I was trying to pull a "fast" one on TW... She even corrected me in grammar... Of which she was actually... Wrong. I told her then fine, I will be shopping around... in a nasty condescending tone she sneered at me... Go ahead because I guarantee you. You will be back. Right... First I lose signal constantly when trying to watch TV, my internet runs like a snail on a brand new computer but runs like a champ even in hotels... And now I am accused of lying. Tw... I am shopping around.
