Have had TWC for over 29 years.in 2007 I set up service to include Internet, TV, HBO, cable box, a 12 month promotional rate with a $10 increase.in 2011 I asked for a way to reduce bill, and accepted removal of HBO channels to save $12/month (NO discussion of a promo).in 2012 my bill increased $20. Called TWC "retention office"; they claim I had a FIVE YEAR promotional rate since '07, that ended in '12. I have my old bills (yes, I do), they don't show a promo rate over those years. I asked to see the 5 year promo, they said to visit an office, local office can't see past 1 year and claims there was never a 5 year promo. Called back "retention office" and now they say they can't show me as it's "proprietary"... And to "trust" them.
It's double-talk, actually, it makes no sense. I've filed dispute with credit card. But now what can I do? What other service in Bedford, OH can give me TV and high speed Internet? Finally, is there really a "retention" dept. Or is it just another random customer service office???
