MY House phone has been wrongly disconnected

I called TWC during the week of 5/13 to request a quote for a home phone since I already have cable and Internet with them. The sales rep told me that she could bundle everything (cable, Internet, and phone) for $86.41 a month. I agreed and the install was set for 5/26 evening appointment. The rep called and said he could not make it, (well after I had already waited) and we agreed to the next morning 5/27/12; 8am-10am appointment.

The tech (Mike) gets here, installs two boxes and my house phone, but then a problem occured with the boxes, so he had to take them down. I was assured by the tech that I would NOT lose my home phone service, but when I got back home TODAY, May 29, my house phone was off. I tried to call TWC twice, and got disconnected twice. I had to leave home to be able to make those phone calls because my cell phone does not get a signal in this new apartment, and I was expecting a VERY important phone call. I get NO cell service in this new apartment.
