I have a 2 year contract with this satelite internet provider and the service personel are unknowlegeable, and in some cases just plain stupid! After about 4 hours, 4 hours! Of being put on hold and talking to stupid people, they have schuled a service call on the 28th of this month! Over 3 weeks after the nightmare of getting a conversation with a manager, (who, by the way also wanted to go over the "steps" again.) I've had phone service that is faster. I bought the "Pro" package @ $86.? A month! I never get up to the 1.5 MB service that I am paying for. The usual is 0.35kb, if i'm lucky!
Now. They really think i will upgrade to "Excede" and pay more? PLUS, they want to charge a fee for this "upgrade." I have already paid $200.00 for the equipment/installation, $5.95 per month for the modem and a monthly service that they don't provide! When this contract is up i will probably go back to phone line service @ $12.99 per month.
Only one thing she did, said i would recieve a month of "service?" free. But, really, i need service first to get a "free" month, i would think. Besides they have lied so much and did their damnedest to NOT HELP or give answers, or answer the phones or get me to a manager that I'll believe that, when i see it. Sorry service, lies and deceit. And really, really slow service to repair their own sorry eqipment that i am also pauying a monthly fee for them to keep up.
