Ordered a Shuttle PC on 6-20-04 for $399 with free shipping and a 160 GB HD. It all looked legit, and it was the last day for the "double your hard drive size for free" promotion. I got an auto reply with my order details (sort of, just the $ amount no specifics). I've been waiting now a week and I haven't heard a thing from them. My CC was charged though, so someone is there behind the scenes. They also updated their website for a "double your memory" promotion, so someone is definetely "working" this 'site.
F.Y.I. Their order tracking system is not a functioning feature, it just shows you your weather based on your zip code and has no ability to actually track anything other than that.
The "Live Help" is also just a scam, there is no live help! Looks to me like they took a screen grab from an actual "Live Person" software demo and made it into a send email webpage sized to look like the real thing, but it ISN"T!!!
I'm just glad that my CC company will protect me, but what a hassle I could have really use this new PC now, but instead will have to look around for a legit deal and deal with this hassle.
If by some miracle my order arrives I will be sure to update this report.
Caveat emptor!
