This is a follow-up and rebuttal to the rebuttal by CPU Parts International.
The rebuttal claims that my order was canceled and my payment was refunded. Well I haven't seen any refund and the same day that the rebuttal was posted on this site I received an email stating that all the parts for my system have been ordered and should arrive in 7 to 9 days, well that was 8 weeks ago and I haven't heard a peep from CPU-Parts International so I emailed them (again) and actually received the following reply-
"This email is to let you know the current status of your pending order. As of right now, your computer is currently in step 7 out of a possible 10 steps. During step 7, your order steadily works it way from the bottom of the order assembly list to the top, where it is assembled by a certified technician. On average it takes 3-4 calendar days for step 7 to be completed."
Let's face it folks, if this company isn't a complete rip-off it certainly has the worst customer service/performance of any company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with!!!
Also, why in all the rebuttals (that they have posted) don't they give a phone number or address? The phone number that is on my CC bill has been disconnected or is no longer in service and they don't give a number anywhere on their website or in the emails I receive from them.
As far as the "Live Help" it now seems to be "functional" but give it a try... I tried it and for over an hour no "live person" ever responded.
