I purchased a nettalk duo device that is supposed to allow me to use my internet connection for a telephone. The first device was supposedly defective, although I do not think the tech support person knew what she was doing. I then purchased a new device and returned the old one. They were supposed to exchange the old one but never did. The new device will not work with the phone number already assigned unless "tech support" transfers (called porting) the number to this new device. After spending over 7 hours on hold waiting for tech support to answer, I came to the realization that I had been ripped off. The only phone numbers that actually answer are the sales people, who tell me there is nothing they can do about my problem other than to encourage me to die on hold waiting for tech support.
The device does not work as advertised and nettalk.com will do nothing about it.
I'm screwed.
