I placed an order with ColibriMall.com on 16 December for a cigar lighter. Their web site claims that all lighters are in stock. I received an order confirmation from them that same night. There appeared to be no further activity on the order, which didn't seem unusual, since I was waiting for the next correspondence to be a shipping confirmation.
Yesterday, 20 December, my payment for the order cleared my bank, and then I received an email from 'Support ColibriMall.com' simply stating that the model number was "discontinued and not available". There was no apology for the inconvenience, no instructions on how to proceed for a refund or reorder... Nothing. When I tried calling their phone number, a recording stated that they weren't taking calls.
I contacted my bank, which temporarily reversed the charges. I also closed the debit card I used for the purchase, so that this place wouldn't have further access to my account.
