I purchased a Toshiba Satellite Series 5005 laptop at compusa for $2400 (approx). What a piece of junk. I got the 2 year extended warranty for almost $400 and CompUsa has replaced the monitor screen, 3 hard drives, 4 rw cd rom.
Guess what, it crashed again 4 days after the warranty expired. Calls to Toshiba (joke) resulted in "your cd rom drive is dirty" and "download the bios update and install it" LOL Now all I get is "Wrong Machine" when I try to boot it up. Their recovery discs never have worked. Now they want $300 to repair it. Is there a lemon law for computers?
Never buy a Toshiba Product!
