To put it simply, in our opinion, Synapse India and Kapil Grupa cannot be trusted and he has no idea how to run a proper business. Dealing with Synapse India is like dealing with an unreasonable child, you can't get anywhere with them and Elance is no help either.
Here's the deal. My company awarded Kapil / Synapse India after they proposed a total of 300 billable hours. Unfortunetaly for us, Kapil Grupa and his clan of make believe professionals made our short list and eventually was awarded the project. After several phone calls, very detailed direction and documentation... And our consistent attempts to ensure that the scope was understood the project was underway.
100% over budget later and over 3 weeks on a six week project. Turns out, I am not the only one..

I had the same exact experience, the first 1/2 of the project was moving right along, we were very satisfied... Then when it came to design complex solutions they fell on their faces and started billing erroneous hours and not delivering.
Here's the ugly part... Money is money and outsourcing is always a risk. However, when the contractor accesses your production server without authorization and removes files it changes everything. Kapil Grupa refuses to admit they acted in such a manner. It is our belief and we are in the process of reviewing log files, that Synapse India accessed our production server and removed files... What kind of company does that???
I urge you to NOT do business with Synapse India for any project of any scope. There are much better contractors out there who are responsible, logical and business professionals. I just hired a new contractor and they are great. We had a good laugh at the horrible buggy code and db schema the Kapil Grupa's chop shop boys from Synapse India delivered... Not worth a $6,000 laugh though..
I have an enormous amount of factual evidence substantiating my position. If you want more details I would be happy to discuss. Synapse India is nothing more than a ripoff... And it has become my personal goal to ensure they do not continue misrepresenting their level of expertise and professionalism. I wouldn't hire Kapil Grupa and friends to clean my toilets...
Synapse India... Beware, they love your money and when it comes time to discuss real business matters they run behind Elance and will deny any wrong doing...
