I paid $150, via Paypal (03-05-04) for a replica Cartier watch and $12 for shipping. Upon checking my Paypal account, I noticed the payment was claimed promptly on 03-06-04! Well, that's the ONLY thing Sr. Gonzalez has done quickly!
The watch was received 3 weeks later. Guess what? It was the WRONG watch! I e-mailed Replicasonstock.com with the problem. He apologized. Said to send him a picture of the watch in question and to be sure 'to return the one I didn't want, in original packaging, unworn, within FIVE DAYS'. Ahh, another burst of speed from Gonzalez! I complied. He got the watch back and had another one for me, he said via e-mail, only after my prodding with many e-mails of my own. Around the middle of April, still no watch and Ernesto was reluctant to answer e-mails. He was 'sick' one time and 'on vacation' another, as he did have excuses for his lack of communication! I called him and he said the watch would be shipping out on Monday (4-19-04) and I would get it by Wednesday the 21st.
When the watch did not arrive as scheduled, I called on 4-22 and left an inquiry, to which I got no response. On April 23, I went to the website, which I kept checking periodically because I was now skeptical, to say the least, and SURPRISE! No more replicasonstock.com!!!
I did some internet investigating and a Spanish site called! Guame! Directed me to Ernesto's new site, still under construction, WebReplicas.com.
Today, April 28th, I e-mailed him at the new site.
I have saved the e-mail correspondence and my receipt from Paypal.
I know this is not a large amount of money. Nevertheless, it's money earned and paid for goods not received. I do a lot of internet shopping and luckily have not been burned. Guess that's why I find this so discouraging.
