Comcast installation offer - Comcast Triple Play

In November we ordered the bundle package from Comcast, (cable, phone and internet), and the offer came with a $100 pre-paid visa card. We wanted to have our computer set up in our computer room downstairs, but the service guy who came out didnt want to go through the trouble of setting it up so instead he drilled 2 holes through my hardwood floors in my dining room, makes sense doesnt it, and set up the computer equipment there. Wasnt happy about that. Since we initally got comcast we had problems with our dvr box not working correctly, couldnt access on demand, recordings would start mid way through the programs, so I called and was told that I had an "old box and needed the upgrade", they then told me they would send out a new one. A few weeks later, still no sign or call from comcast. Called them back, they set up an appointment for new box. Appointment day - same guy who was here from first initial set up came out again, he said it was because of a spliter that was on our line that was causing the problem (they put it there at initial set up) and he removed it asking me if I still wanted the new dvr. Um... Yes I said and he let out a little sigh and said how long it takes for all the information to be downloaded and that he could be there for about an hour and a half waiting for all this. So them he gets all that going and asks me if I want the remote that goes with the new box, and he continued to say that it doesnt matter the old remote works with it as well, so I felt like I would be a problem if I wanted the proper equipment and said I would stick with the old remote. Low and behold, the old remote does not work well with the new box, cant pause tv! During this time I asked what would need to be done to get the computer stuff moved into our computer room like we originally wanted. He looked down there and said I remember this, yeah he explained what they would have to do and again complained about the time being a factor, he said it would take a good hour to do that and that we would be charged AGAIN for an installation. He then told me what we could do is go out and buy some cheap cable wire, run it through the space he told me and have it ready then call back and have them come out and hook it up, in others words, I could pay them AND do there work for them! I was appauld! Then after 3 months of service, I called about the $100 pre paid visa we were told we would get for getting the bundle package, I was told at that time that we needed to have service for 6 months to get it. Ok, no problem. 7 months later, I call and they tell me it is only 90 days of service, but I didnt qualify because I did not sign a contract. I was never told about a contract. The lady then on the phone states they ONLY offer the visa with contract deals. So I got online and to my surprise, there was an advertisement for the same deal I signed up for but this time $150 pre paid visa was being offered AND it also stated NO LONG TERM CONTRACT REQUIRED right on there. I feel like I am paying a company to lie to me, give me crappy service, and make me feel like a nuisance to them! I was then told a supervisor would call me back, and yet again, no call back! Now I am paying this money for crappy service and not even still being able to enjoy using the pause button, and holes in my dining room floor which I didnt want but hey, those holes were easier to drill then the other one I requested I guess. Any one know or can reccomend a better company than comcast, will switch for sure...
