I bought DVD XCopy Gold at Fry's for $109.95 with a $40 rebate on 12/06/03, and sent the rebate documents on 12/9. The rebate form clearly promised a check within 4-8 weeks. My rebate status at rebates. 321studios.com is "approved, " and has been since January.
Since 2/17/04, I've been getting the runaround from 321 Studios via e-mail, live chat, and many phone calls. The phone number on the rebate form didn't even belong to 321 Studios. Calling 321 Studios' customer service number gets no results - the customer service people say they are not involved in rebates, but are not allowed to connect you with the rebate department! They also say to e-mail the rebate department, but doing this gets you only no reply or a form letter e-mail.
I've reported this company to the BBB and FTC as well.
