Antsbrother Ignores Refund Request Brooklyn

On July 20, I puchased what was advertised as a replacement screen for an HP Pavilion DV6-10us laptop computer for $141.99. I paid with my credit card. The original HP screen was a Samsung model LTN160At02-002 LC. It is a single bulb CCFL LCD screen. The screen sent me by Antsbrother was labeled as manufactured not by Samsung but by HannStar and had an incompatible video data connector and no socket for the CCFL bulb connector. It was an LED screen and not a direct replacement screen built to fit this laptop, although Antsbrother advertised that it did.

I immediately emailed Antsbrother on July 26th and stated the problem. The replied the same day that they would like photographs of my old screen and the one they sent. I sent the photos that same day and they responded on July 28th that they would send the correct screen and that I should mail back the screen they sent to their Brooklyn address and put on the label "attention Hangfeng Wu, " which I did. On August 12 I received an email from the company stating, "Unfortunately, there is something wrong about the goods in manufacture... We hope you will understand us. We will give you a refund immediately."

I did not receive a refund. I sent numerous emails to the company asking about the refund and have received no response since August 12, a period of two-and-a-half weeks. That seemed peculiar because the company had been responsive when they thought they could replace the product. Since they cannot, they do not seem interested in refunding my money.
