Complaint / Review
Eglobal wireless
I was charged for "Imaginary Upgrades" which according to their policy are non refundable

I ordered a netbook online. I paid for priority shipping (2-3 days) and priority "handling".
Three days later (the netbook was not yet here) I received a phonecall from eglobal wireless informing me that the netbook I ordered would be useless without a longlife battery and additional cable.
I agreed and was out 24.99 just for that.

The netbook arrived (no cable, no battery) and did not work. I had friends (who work with computers) look over it. They told me it was useless.
I looked up return policies and read that I would be out shipping 25% restocking fee. I requested to be "eligible to return" and requested a refund. I received an Email which I was asked to put in with the package which I did. And I returned it.

I waited a while and then contacted them about my refund (only contact possible through Live Chat which is always "offline"). They confirmed that they received the netbook. They asked me to check my credit card. No Money. After a while I was refunded $59.

I wrote their support center again. Asking why I was refunded only $59 out of $117.
"It's all in our refund policy available to you before you place your order. I wrote again and again explaining the situation. I asked why I didn't receive a refund for the upgrade that was not made. They told me they do not refund upgrades and I should read their return policy.

I read the return policy closely. It states that I should receive a full refund if something is defective. So I wondered. The support team basically agreed with me when I told them it was defective and still charged me an unbelievable amount. They basically agreed with me that I did not receive the upgrade, and still told me it was not refundable. I said "really, You are charging me for something I never received and are now keeping my money?" "It's all in the return policy"they said.

Lastly, after I finally filed a report with bbb, they told me I received the upgrade-unbelievable.
I know I never received it-I'm sure they know.

It's not so much about the money anymore, But they have just found a way to make free money by reselling the same product over and over again. Letting the consumer pay shipping handling 25% restocking fee $25 non-refundable imaginary upgrade. That's a lot of money for nothing!

And they are incredibly rude!!
