Ordered a new unopened box 7" mini netbook. My order totalled $112.99. Two days later, an agent called me to sell an upgrade. He explained I would have a much stronger battery and would receive a car adapter and free shipping for only $30 more. They then deducted $142.99 from my bank account.
When the dead notebook arrived in an old-looking opened box, I realized I had been tricked. The AC adapter did not work. I used the car adapter, and the netbook powered on for about one minute before it died. During that minute, it advised me that the battery was too weak to be charged.
When I contacted them, they only offered me another charger, not another battery. I returned the merchandise.in addition, I had to pay $10.00 to return the netbook. So then I had spent $152.99.
They obviously make their money through sending out useless products that customers have returned, and charing a 25% restocking fee. No doubt, someone else will purchase my return.
But in actuality, they charged a 52.4% restocking fee. They kept $68.00 of my money. So I lost $68.00 plus $10, what it cost me to return it. So my loss was $78.00. I called and they would not make it right.
