Ecieved call from tom stating that i was not being solicited by a rip off, but that an email address of two years old yielded me a prize of at least a minimum of $100.00 gift card to BEST BUYS STORES, a chance at a car and trips to ensenada mex or las vegas nv for two all exp. 3days limo etc.
These were not tranfsferable (as I was the winner alone) and could only be picked up in person.
Tom stated he would send a confirmation e-mail that evening.
While verifying the (old) e-mail address, I went on and on about how that the disabled, the handicapped, and the at large pulic of the order of (low income), can and will be at least 20% of internet traffic.
Since I had changed ISP and therefor the new address, and closed with the comentary that as a disabled person, I
have no car.
That social security puts me at the absolute bottom of the econic ladder, and that this would never change so decrees the goverment.
That persons like me have no money, not $5000, not $ not even two hundred dollars on hand.
And that it was very generous of them to consider the disabled in their giveaways, that I (was touched, and would take the bus to pick up my prize.)
Naturally, no confirmation e-mail ever arrived, so I called the number I requested in their first call
