I returned over $150 worth of merchandise (due to sizing) three blouses and one jacket. THis was returned in April 2011. After several emails inquiring as to where my refund/credit to my account was, i got fed up being told there was a new systems for processing returns, all B. S. So i called today. I was told that the company that holds newport news credit card and speigel - went bankrupt. But i still have to pay for the items even tho i have been waiting for the credit to show on my bill before i pay it off. Isnt that just wonderful? They will not be refunding any money for returns processed before june 2011 i was told. Then why did they accept the return? They KNEW they werent going to refund the money. They NEVER sent any thing regarding a bankruptcy. If they had i never would have ordered anything from them. Speigel just "credited" my acount on June 2. Guess what? Im not getting that money either. Total and complete LIARS and THEIFS.
