Last August, early in the month I ordered about $100 worth of blinky things for playa gifts and personal use. The website said shipping would take 4-5 days, which left plenty of time. The week before we were supposed to leave for BM I contacted the company and said "Hey, I am leaving soon and my package has not arrived." I got a reply from Angie saying that they would ship my package to me at BM to the BRC post office under the agreement that when I got home from BM, I would return the package that was late to my house back unopened.
Everyday, I went to the BRC post office, which is a nice idea for a theme camp and fun if you are not waiting for a $100 package to arrive, but was pretty insufferable other wise. The event came and went and my package never came. I got home and guess what, no package there either. That was when the fun began.
I sent three different emails to the company asking what happened. I sent them to all of the addresses on their site. No reply. I called the phone number repeatedly. No answer. I kept trying with no luck. Finally after a full month had passed with no response, I went to my bank and asked them to retrieve my money for me.
For a little while eLiquidMotion.com took their web site down, so I thought that the company had tanked, but later, when I was shopping again for blinky things, I saw that the site was back online and emailed them again. In my messages I told her the date of my order, and the date that I was refunded the money by my bank, a few months later. She referred to my precise timeline of events as an "opinion" that she did not agree with. She accused me of trying to rip her off by using a fraudulent checking account. She says she sent the package, but it was returned, though she did not provide any kind of proof that she had shipped it when I asked for it.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which she did not respond to. I was recently contacted by another person who found my post to the LJ community when she Goggled the company. Turns out she too was ripped off and her complaint to the BBB also was ignored.
