I recently submitted a trial membership for Shadowshopper.com.
As the trial membership was coming to the end I sent an email to the company explaining I did not want any further business with this company. They promised jobs opportunities, I followed through on several emails to find jobs in my area, none were to be found. As I sent the email letting them know I did not want any further charges or membership, my bank statement arrived two weeks later with a $99. Charge for a year membership to this website.
I immediately called my bank letting them know this was an unauthorized charge. The bank took great care of me and is working with me to resolve this matter. I have sent several emails to shadowshopper.com and have not had any sympathy or any resolve to settle this matter.
The bank gave me their phone number, I have called them and sent one more email and again the matter is not settled.
I find it totally ironic that this company who solicites job for rating customer service in other companies has such poor customer service. I have found their customer service department one of the poorest departments I have ever had to deal with.
I hope that by placing this complaint along with many more some other poor person will not join this site to lose their time and money. I would rate this site the most horrible site on the internet.
