Www.sortprice.com Sortprice is deceptive and refuses to honor cancellation then bills your credit card

My experience basically mirrors the other report I read here, only mine has quickly become a lot more expensive. We signed up for Sortprice at the recommendation of one of their executives who told us we could receive a significant amount of web traffic per month from listing our products on their website. We asked if they had a trial period, to which Ian (Sort Price Account Manager) said there was a 3 month trial period at $300 month. We were led to believe we would be receiving hundreds of visitors to our site monthly from this service, yet we received only 10, yes 10 clicks that came into our website from them after 2 1/2 months. We figured we were SOL on the 900 dollars we wasted on the trial period even though we feel ripped off on that transaction, so we requested to cancel the service. You are not able to cancel via their website, which directs you to email your account manager, which we did. Two weeks later we receive a notice that we have been billed $900 more dollars for another three months. We immediately email them (within minutes of receiving the billing email) and remind them that we already canceled and that they need to reverse the charge.

We were informed by Ian that we are not entitled to our money back and that he can "pro rate" our account and issue a 299 dollar credit, leaving us SOL for the remaining 600 dollars. How they come up with a 600 dollar cost to us for a few minutes of pro rating on their error that should have never been billed in the first place I have no idea.

We were told we can take the 299 or we can take nothing.
From Ian Goldin, Account Manager and person on the front lines scamming us: "If you would like for us to process the refund of $299.99 as per our billing policy let me know or you can check check directly with your banking institution."

I cannot stress strongly enough do not do business with this company. As soon as you figure out that the web traffic isnt coming that was promised, they will simply try to screw you out of more money by refusing to cancel your account.
