I emailed www.buycostumes.com on 10/29/03 because I needed help. I asked them a question about shipping and yes, I have read all their contact info and fAQS's. There was this shipping method that said Halloween day-OCT. 31st - $14.95. I emailed them and told them exactly where I lived and asked them will it really come on the 31st?
Then I get this letter confirmation and it says Customer service will reply to you. Well, today is 10/30/03 and it looks like I won't be ordering my costume. Don't be fooled by their policy (which is a gimmick). If you're going to get a costume, get it at your local store because if the Customer service are liar's how the hell can you trust them?
Sample:
Me: How long will it take for your product to come here and what's the difference between each shipping method?
Them: We will reply to you shortly.
Me: Emailed them 10/29/03, now it's 10/30/03, with only 1 day left for Halloween.
Result: I'm screwed.
