Ripoff billed for unrequested and unauthorized services for over 16 months AOL

Identical to all the other reports, and to article in today's Washington Post re: Ohio suit v. AOL customer deceit.

Today's date is 10/28.

Used free disc for AOL but couldn't get it to work. Spoke - that same evening - to tech services of AOL who said they couldn't help and I said I don't want the service.

I NEVER used AOL.

I noticed months later that I'd been billed - monthly - for service I didn't request nor use. I was told that I "didn't cancel" and had no "authorization number to prove it." I said that I didn't have the service, didn't authorize it, and wanted my money returned. The woman, who would not connect me with her supervisor and, in fact, said "Lady, I'm the supervisor for you." said she would cancel my account but no refund.

I've sent three letters plus emails plus phone calls, and have, to date, received no response at all. I filed a complaint with my bank for unauthorized monthly deductions.
