Although I consider most prices at Henry's fair, and quality appropriate for value, I get irritated at the inflated price charged for simple mung bean sprouts. They sell 12oz sacks of "pure water grown" bean sprout regularly at $1.99 (this had held for the past 6 months or so), while in Southern Cal, Ralphs, Stater Brothers, and other stores for the same item generally charge 99-cents, though sometimes the price goes down to 88-cent on specials at Staters. The "double-price" premium charged at Henry's is the closest thing I can think of to a 'deal-breaker' — and our family spends well over one hundred dollars a week at the store in Laguna Niguel - and have done so for five years.
