Clearly fraudulent.
So I sign up for an account on tel3advantage.com, give them my CC # and other personal info, then continue to the last page. Poof! Instead of seeing a confirmation message I read: " Sorry your Credit Card was declined". I go: "what the..."
When I checked my credit account there is a charge in the exact amount of the supposed transaction. I call the bank they tell me " we accepted the charge and your transaction with that merchant went through. All you can do is file a dispute." I then check my email. No emails from tel3. Clean. No account set up, no PIN #, nothing. I was charged for hot air.
I called customer service. Hard to get through. Finally somebody on the line, foreign accent, mexican or indian keeps telling me "you are breaking... I can't hear you" What??? I just called a number in the US, I wanted to be connected with someone in the US not overseas!!!
I tried online chat. Had to wait 3-5 minutes before I get a back reply. Pretty sure the customer rep was using dial up Internet somewhere across the ocean. And they provide phone service?! Are you kidding?
So now I have to make up my mind what do I do first: Call BBB and tell them these are crooks, get them off the list of accredited companies and then the bank or wait.
Anyway I am disatisfied. And my only regret is, I should've checked with usacomplaints.com first, before putting trust in these scammers. There are other reports on this company with various endings.
Don't make the same mistake. Staw away.
