Cox Communications cable and internet has been installed all over Camp Pendleton's barracks for a few years now and there are countless issues every day. I will share my experience. I live in the barracks a I decided to cancel my sprint internet because they did not offer speeds higher than 3mb. I browsed around and Cox Communications had a "Premier Internet Package" which gave you 30mb connection. I called them and ordered it and it was installed the next day. It took no more than 15 minutes for it to be installed. As soon as the technician left my barracks room, I decided to run a speed test to see if I had the 30mb connection. The test resulted in 1.5mb download and 1.5 upload, which really pissed me off because I canceled my old internet (3mb download) so I can have a faster connection. That same day I called Cox's tech support number and they had me run ping tests and had me check the modem and asked a few tech questions and everything was good.
