1and1 Internet Erroneously sent to NCO collections, NCO drops case, 1and1 email says will allow transfer yet still locked

In November I got a letter from NCO Financial Services regarding collection action submitted by 1&1 Internet. I had in June completed a long process of disputing charges by 1and1 Internet to my credit card after cancelling services. I assumed that since 1&1 Internet lost the dispute they sent the account to collections. I of course moved ALL services (around 100 domains and additional services) away from 1and1 Internet after the horrendous experience I'd had including multiple services outages where data and information were effectively held hostage for ransom. They forced me to signed a credit card authorization including additional fees in order to release my data. 1&1 continued trying to charge my credit card which I disputed and finally had to change my card number to prevent the fradulent charges.

I disputed the validity of the charge with NCO Financial. They went back to 1&1 Internet to get a detailed invoice. It turns out that 1&1 Internet had assigned me a totally difference customer number for some domains. I didn't know about this customer number so I didn't know to transfer the domains. I explained this in my response to NCO financial. I offered to pay for hosting services through that date but not any late fee since the first invoice I got was through NCO Financial. I sent responses on March 1st, 8th, and 23rd. Today is March 29th.

On March 24th I got an email from [email protected]:

Please reply back with the last 4 digits of the credit card on file
for verification so we can unlock your domains for transfer.

I did so and haven't heard back. I've reinitiated the transfer several times to no avail. On March 25th I sent a reply asking when I'd know they were unlocked and have gotten no response.

I contacted the Georgia Attorney General's office at 404.656.3790 to file a complaint against 1and1 Internet and NCO Financial. I was told I could call VP Lisa Signore 888.495.8352 at NCO Financial. I was told that my case with NCO Financial was closed on March 8th. They have 30 days to response so they just haven't sent a response yet. Meanwhile, 1&1 Internet still has my accounts locked so they I can not access them.

I have also filed a complainted with the Federal Trade Commission - ftc. Gov as well as the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office Madeline Dakour - 215.560.2414. It is important that official complaints are filed since the number of complaints warrants investigate my authorities. One person complaining doesn't do much - 1,000 will. Take the time to stand against the business practices of 1&1 Internet.
