Al Grand, Alexandre Dimov This site is selling poison that is making people sick

Public health hazard

You may not be familiar with the product K2 "incense". It is widely used as a marijuana substitute and consists of a mixture of herbs and synthetic cannabinoids. The substance and chemicals in it were recently outlawed in Kansas and similar legislation is pending in Missouri and Illinois. The FDA recently seized a large quantity of K2 from Bouncing Bear Botanicals and arrested the owner, Jonathan Sloan. Although the chemicals used in K2 are not illegal to possess in states that have not passed legislation against them, they cannot be sold anywhere in the U.S. Without permission from the FDA. Also, the website does NOT disclose the fact that such chemicals are contained in K2.

If you do a simple search for "K2 incense" on Google News, you will find many articles including ones regarding the hospitalization of dozens of people in several states who suffered adverse reactions (tachycardia, hypertension, respiratory distress, seizures, vomiting, hallucinations and loss of consciousness) after inhaling K2. Although the site states K2 is not for human consumption, it is marketed as incense which would, of course, be inhaled. A 14 year old boy in Fair Play, Missouri went into respiratory arrest last November after inhaling K2 but survived. Dr. Anthony Scalzo of St. Louis says he alone has treated 30 patients who ingested K2 and remarked 12 others had been seen in Atlanta. Don't just take my word for it; check for yourselves. There are other cases in Florida, Delaware, etc. Which you can easily find using Google News.

Police labs in Kansas and Missouri have tested K2 and found it to contain the synthetic cannabinoids JWH-018 and JWH-073. Nowhere are these substances mentioned on the site k2incense.org.By placing these chemicals (which are untested on humans) in K2 Alex has managed to become a threat to the health of unsuspecting customers. People have the right to know what they are putting in their bodies and by withholding this information, Alex has not only violated the law but put the health and welfare of many people in jeopardy.

This clearly is a dangerous substance and the merchant selling the chemicals contained in it is in violation of FDA rules. The FDA has been notified of the actions of this website and I ask those who read this to not patronize this site. I also ask anyone who may know of Alexandre Dimov's whereabouts to call your local FDA field office and turn him in. You may very well save someone's life. Thank you.
