Before trial period for dsl had exspired with aol broadband, I contacted them, upset and displeased with their service. I cancelled with them and returned their equipment, (at my expence). To insure that nothing would go wrong, I sent it domestic return receipt, and within the time frame they quoted me, or I bought it.
A month later, I was still billed for regular aol service. ($29.80)
Second month, I was billed for regular and broadband service. Automatic draw from bank account, ($80.00)
Waited on phone 45 mins, on hold, no one ever came on. Called back, later. Was told, there was no record of cancellation. Offered me 2 months of free service to passify me. I refused, as I already have a new server. After a second offer and refusal, and request for my money back, I was told, thank you for contacting aol, and was hung up on.
