Ordered two used parts for a laptop. One part was sent incorrectly and when I returned it, they only issued a partial refund. No reason given. When I got the correct part locally, I used it with the other part I had gotten from Synaptic Systems only to find that the motherboard I got from them was not operational. The customer service rep said I could not return it for refund but they would replace it for me. I was reluctant to send it back alone so they offered to send a new one out first but only if they got a security deposit from me. They agreed to return the security deposit once they received the old one back. They have spent the last 30 days giving me a line on how the refund will have to get special approval.
Synaptic systems will take your money when they smell a sale, but will take forever to deliver customer service. Forget about getting a decent shake if you need to return an item. Good Luck.
This whole deal is going on for 7 months. Only when I mention I am interested in buying more computer parts do I get a response from them.
