I was selling a laptop on craigslist, so she (judith pope) emailed me for information about my laptop, like whats the condition does it work does it come with all cables etc. Said she was buyiny it for her grandson, then she ask if i had a paypal account i said no i would have to get ont one. So i did, i had had one awhile ago but not used it for a long time but because i had done transactions thru paypal before i trusted this transaction would go thru to, judith pope sent me account information and everything it had the paypal logo it looked to be liget she sent a paypay notice saying that after i had mailed out the item and got a confirmation number from the post office paypal would release my money into my account that had already recieved the funds from judith pope's paypal account. So because i had never had any problems with paypal in the past i did everything that the paypal letter said to do so that i could be paid for my laptop. So all is said an done the money never showed in my paypal account. I contacted paypay several times before i finially got a response there answer was that yes they are to be liable to add these funds into my paypal account, then i got several other emails from paypal they were responsible for my payment and a couple emails saying they weren't i saved every email and every paypal letter that had been sent by judith pope an paypal, i have never been payed for my laptop by either judith pope or paypal, and because this happened at the start of a weekend there was no way for me to stop my package from being sent out, Why because the post office does not have a phone number or any type of contact information for the public to call or email to stop there mail until the coming monday by that time my laptop was not even in the uninted states they proccessed it thru the weekend, all they did was tell me to fill out a form and take it to my postoffice to put a stop on it, it was to late. Now i know why so many people get ripped off. IF there had been some kind of phone number or email address to contact the postoffice during the weekend i could have stop my package, i did contact a supervisor thru email twice but they were useless the first says fill out a form an take to your post office an the second didnt email back until monday afternoon just to fill out the form so i did take it to the post office, i was to late.
