Let me get this straight... A multi-million dollar game company, EA, cannot for the life of them make a competent registration site? I started with The Sims CC game years ago. Registered with TheSims at my domain name. Then I bought The Sims2 and tried to register it under the SAME email address, but was not able to because EA's site did not allow me. So I had to register it under TheSims2 at my domain name. I called to try and have the two accounts combined under TheSims email address and this is the crap "CS" help I received after waiting online a 1/2 hour to begin with:
Victor: Hi, my name is Victor. How may I help you?
Me: I have The Sims CC and The Sims2. I was NOT able to register the two games under ONE email address because EA's registration sucked. I now have The Sims CC registered with XXXXXX and The Sims2 registered with XXXXXX. I plan on buying The Sims3 today and want ALL THREE Sims games to just be registered under XXXXXX. I went to some ". Do" page as requested by some EA FAQs answer here to supposedly combine the accounts, but that did not work. Now I have no games registered with XXXXXX. I cannot find how to add my The Sims CC and The Sims2 to this NEW EA account.
Victor: Have you registered all the games?
Me: I registered both CC and 2 under TWO different email addresses in the past.
Victor: Please provide me the email address on which you have used to register the games.
Me: Per my first post above, I now have The Sims CC registered with XXXXXXX and The Sims2 registered with XXXXXXX.
Victor: You want to register all the games on "XXXXXXX" account?
Me: Correct... The Sims CC and The Sims2 should be registered at XXXXXXX
Victor: I am sorry but the email can be changed but only to that email which has not been used to EA before.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME EA??? This kind of crap went on for well over an hour. It's apparent that the CS does not speak English as a first language.
