Well as soon as i started using L90.com I noticed that their numbers that show the number of banner views and banner prices kept going up and down. I dont mean from day to day but in the same day. The system might show that you showed 1,000 banners today on your site and the price is $1. And then later in the day it could already be 800 and the price is like $0.5. They say the prices might change based on the advertisers they are working with. But i dont understand that, dont they have an agreement for a certain price? And even more strange how can the number for banners shown go down if it was already shown?
They say that their system is not in real time and can change things around during the day until the day ends. But i noticed such changes even after the month ended.
Well no matter what kind of system i kept using it. The payment they said would only be considered after 30-45 days after the month has ended. I waited and at that point they said they are trying to get the money from their advertisers and which should take another 60 days. After i waited all that and demanded my money they told me that I owe THEM some money. I didnt notice this before but their huge contract has a small line that says that by signing it you automatically have to pay L90 a $1000. They give no reason for this payment, its not for setup, its not for software, its just for being their member. Then i got scared and read their contract and found a technicality which showed that i dont have to pay that amount. At that point they said that the $1000 fee would be reduced and it came out to be just above the amount as they owed me for showing their banner ad's. And they suggested that we terminate our contract immediately and didnt want to work with me anymore.
I got lucky and didnt lose more then my banner space but i suggest to everyone that a company that does business like this should be avoided at all costs.
