Laptop Repair Rip-Off
Originally, brought laptop in for motherboard replacement. Took forever. When paid for and picked up, it was brought home.
Turned on laptop and it was not restored with factory restore operating system. I had to consult manufacture myself and go thru a process of changing information on laptop to accept factory restore. This process had to be done, due to wrong motherboard installed or not changed info to accept. It finally worked, with no help or consumer help from them.
Second laptop needed cpu fan and heat sink and power supply. Purchased a power supply and brought back as this too was not a new one for $50 but a used one. Brought that back after locating a power supply for $20 (NEW).
Traded the powers supply for a hard drive to install after factory restore disks was received from manufacture.installed hard drive 16 days after I received it from them.
Hard drive would not work right, bad sectors and found out there was another operating system on it, also. Which means it was a used one. Laptop errors were reported as hard drive failing, replace immediately.
When I checked the laptop with another hard drive, everything was ok with that hard drive.
Took back the hard drive to have it replaced as it was faulty from day one. I was then told that they could not do anything because it was over 7 days. Even on there web site it quotes parts for 90 day warranty.
This company does not put in parts as requested... Do not honor there customers, do not honor the parts they use, and are totally unprofessional in business tactics and consumer tactics.
I was also accused of being a lier on what happened to the hard drive.
I am a High Tech System Builder and I do know what I am talking about and this business cinstitutes a fraud, as far as I am concerned.
