On July 25 I purchased Driver Detective while trying to find a computer problem that turned out to be the video card. They had a 3 week money back guarantee on their website, and the Better Business Logo.
On July 27, I requested a refund. SafeCart informed me that all refund requests had to come from Driver Detective. The phone number listed on Driver Detective website took me to the same recording no matter what option was selected.
The Money back guarantee has been removed from their website, although it is still up all over the net on other sites that they pay to direct traffic to themselves.
They also charged me $9.95 USD for a two year subscription that I did not request.
I have disputed these charges with Visa, and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Texas.
