Driver Detective is a complete scam. They use deceptive practices and then when they get your money the product does nothing more than just scan your drivers (which you can do with windows by yourself). Since downloading this software my computer actually works WORSE not better. When I tried to get my money back they gave me a total run around shuffling responsibility to the "SafeCart" company that physically processes the transaction.
After reading so many complaints (and wishing I had checked complaint first) I decided to take more action. I remembered that one reason I felt safe in buying the product was that their website had the Better Business Bureau logo. So I clicked on the logo and filed a report against the company PC Drivers Headquarters. You have to sort through to make sure you are filing with the Austin Texas branch (which the website helps you with). Here's the best part... The NEXT DAY when BBB issued an official complaint to PC Drivers Headquarters I got an email only a few hours later from PC Drivers saying they were processing my refund.
They are CLEARLY trying to fool the BBB into not revoking their approval to use the BBB logo on the website. This is what we all need to focus on... Getting the BBB to investigate and take the right action. There is no way they should allow their logo on this sham. So if you've been misled, swindled or feel cheated...
