Buy.com has no way to call their customer service directly to settle problems.

I tried to buy something at buy.com. I used my paypal account but they would not ship to my summer home because I did not have a credit card with that adress on it. So I ordered with my credit card. When I did not get my shipment, I went back to buy.com and discovered that it had not shipped, they needed confirmation.in order to discuss this with customer service, I had to click a link to my home phone number, but I wasn't there. I sent 4 emails asking for a customer service number I could contact to explain the problem, but I kept getting the same from letter to click the link (It took 2 days per letter for them to respond). I appriciate they are trying to protect me BUT, THEY HAVE NO WAY TO CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DIRECTLY TO SETTLE PROBLEMS. I finally gave up and cancled my order, and bought my product elsewhere. Then I had to contact buy.com's shipper directly to canncel the order (which they never recieved). Fortunately, they had a customer service department that responded immediately.
