I am ashamed to say it, but I was a victim of this company too. My son and I were playing an online game and to get tokens you could fill out surveys and get tokens. I found the ad for seattle coffee and thought that it was an okay deal to order the first thing and then cancel within the month and not be charged anything else-big mistake!
I checked my banking account and there I found two charges for 39.98 within two days of eachother. I ordered the initial shipment on the 1st of July and have received that and two other shipments, before the 10th of the month. Of course I called the company to have the charges refunded and was told that they do not give refunds, I could receive store credit. I told them that I did not know all of the items would ship within days. I didn't even have a chance to taste the stupid coffee! The operator said that there was a choice on when you would receive the other orders that would be shipped semimonthly. I do NOT remember having the choice.
They are shipping out these shipments probably within hours of eachother so that you have no time to catch it, and then they refuse to give a refund. I had another operator tell me that it was all legit and written right there.
I cannot afford to be paying 80 dollars for coffee! I know that it was a bad decision to try this! If something is too good to be true STAY AWAY!!!
I was shocked and sickened when I looked up this sight and typed in the business and saw so many complaints. I am a single (widowed) parent of 3 young children. It scares that they will take money from anyone&I want to know what is being done about this. The company is very arrogant and is aware of all the bad publicity, and really doesn't care-because they know they are getting away with it. We need to get this information to consumers before it is too late and they have already been ripped off!!!
