I learned of this Rip Off company, Seattle Coffee Direct while filling out an online advertisment for the coffee. I was supposed to get 2 mugs, 2 travel mugs, and 2 bags of coffee for 25.00.
To my shock and surprise I received the above mentioned products about a week later. The first cup of coffee was good, until I checked my credit card statement.
I observed two more charges on my credit card; one from Seattle Coffee Direct the other from Metro Coffee Direct. I immeditately contacted my credit card company to report the unauthorized charges and filed a report with them. I also called Seattle Coffee Direct, however, there was no answer because they were closed for the evening.
I then decided to file a report with Seattle Coffee Direct on line when I came across your web site. The first report I saw was one that was complaining about the same company regarding the SAME issue. Someone needs to put these criminals out of business.
This is the most expensive coffee on the market and who knows how much I would have been charged if I had not observed my statement. I still have not made contact with Seattle Coffee Direct so I hope that I have the same success in stopping and reversing the charges as the first reported person had.
I agree with his statement, internet buyer beware... Learned a lesson here.
