I received an email from Webroot saying they were going to automatically renew my subscription. I couldnt even find Webroot on my computer! How are they going to renew something I don't even have. I have a computer technician that does all my computer work.
It took me an half hour to get someone to answer the phone at Webroot to not charge me for this automatic renewal.
These are very unethical practices done by desperate companies. If consumers continue to do buisness with companies like this, these companies will continue to scam people. If I would not have opened that email - I would have paid for something that I didn't even know I had.
