I recently created purchased 2 WD500GB SATA hard disk drives from NCIX.com online shop through its St. Patricks Day purchase @ $89.99 as well as the additional delivery price ($15). After I received my hard disk drives, I experimented with deploy and format them. One HD started up using the engine audio rotating up (higher than any devices I've actually employed) after which appeared to power-down after about 10-15 seconds. The BROUGHT drive task lighting was strong vibrant on. Another HD operated on and remained on, nevertheless when I tried formatting it, there is this continuous "ticking" audio in the push. After about 15 minsapproximately a note appears stating "Windows is not able to format push". I actually tried installing Western Digitalis power application from WDC.com to do a structure and also the same thing occurred.

Therefore, I approached their CSR the following day informing them that I obtained 2 DOA (Deadonarrival) hard disk drives. They released me the RMA (Return Material Agreement) and so I might return the faulty hard disk drives. THAT IS CLEARLY UNJUST!!! I'd happily take the delivery price to deliver them back if it was a guarantee problem where it stops working while getting used inside the guarantee period. But I personally don't believe I must purchase the return delivery when the items which were delivered to me was broken within the first-place, particularly when I was not ready to (or did I) create/save information on these devices simply because they arrived damaged, covered within their presentation.

Therefore, I've no additional option but to simply accept the delivery costs to come back them (on March 18).

I'venot received proof of my results however, however the alleged cash I saved in the purchase was utilized back on spending money on returning them to obtain them changed. Today it would appear that I'm spending more for that 2 hard disk drives (price of HD Shiping in my experience Delivery to come back, and also the extra-long waiting-time) than I'd of easily purchased them in a local computer shop.

Oh, and when I had been to request a reimbursement in the place of an upgraded, it's going to charge me 15% restocking fee-per product delivered along with the delivery charge to deliver it back again to them. Completely ridiculous!!!
