I have now bought two new copies of the PC game "Iron man". It will install, but afterwards, when you attempt to play, it says words to the affect that there is no dvd in the drive—it can't read it!
This is a known problem with Sega, and eventually they came out with a patch (about a year ago), and for many people, they cannot load the patch either! They won't respond in forums or emails, and have never officially admitted that they made a faulty game for many, but the patch clinches it in my opinion.
I advise against buying the game, because until you open and try it, you won't know if your drive will handle it (there is no known list that says which drives will/won't work). Once you open it, no store is going to take it back.
It's been a year since the one and only patch, and I seriously doubt Sega will make another. You won't get an apology, or admiting the game is no-good, and certainly no refund from Sega.
