I am writing concerning Alyon Technologies. They have sent a bill for the use of a site that was not authorized by an adult. A minor was just using their computer and numerous pop-ups appeared.
In trying to get rid of the offensive web site pop-ups, the minor could only hit agree to before the site info went off the screen. The pop-ups were repeated three (3) times, before the minor had to get off of the computer. It is not possible to charge a minor for something that they have no control over.
The BBB will be contacted as well as the company itself. If phone calls, emailing, or letters do not work, a lawyer will be contacted. It is suppose to be impossible for minors to get on such offensive sites. Better control and tighter access should be used.
There is no way a site should be able to charge access to a phone line without some sort of credit card # or proof of legal age.
