In November I ordered a bookcase from Ms. Thompson and was told by her that it was shipped in December by Fedex and I would be receiving a confirmation e-mail stating when it would be delivered. No e-mail was sent and Fedex confirmed that it was never told to pick up any such shipment.
When I called Ms. Thompson and told her this, she apologized and said she would try and find out what happened to this delivery and call me back.
She didn't. I called her again and she told me that she had been ill and no one was at her store but she would have someone from her family go there and see what shipments had to go out. Again, no e-mail or delivery.
The next few phone calls she didn't return so I started e-mailing her and she responded to one saying she sent a second bookcase and I would receive a Fed-ex e-mail. This time I received an e-mail from Fed-ex but after waiting a while, there was no delivery of the second bookcase so I called Fed-ex and they said they were not told to pick up any shipment from this company. The e-mail was sent only because Ms. Thompson filled out a mailing label.
I then e-mailed Ms. Thompson to tell her that due to all this confusion over this purchase, I was cancelling this order and requesting a refund. She e-mailed me back on Feb 23 saying she was out of state for two weeks and when she returned to her store, my shipment was returned by Fed-ex and placed in front of her store. On the mailing label, Fed-ex had written " Not deliverable to printed address". I know she had the correct address because Fedex confimed my address when I called them. She offered a refund in that e-mail but I never received one.
In addition I filed a complaint with the BBB of Tennessee. She didn't respond to them. I even sent her a certified letter cancelling my order but she said she never received it. She was left a notice to pick up the letter. She didn't.
No one should buy from this website. I don't know how she stays in business.
