This company charges outrageous prices when it comes to serving the rural areas. If you are 10 days late or something like that. They cut your service off. If you have to get it cut back on, they charge $35 dollar fee to connect it back up. I see that others sign a contract to pay a fixed amount for service that is lousy. It seemed to me that without warning, they cut off the service without notifying the customers. Remember, when you do business with this company, Its like signing your life away.
I will not and cannot recommend this company due to high prices for their service. This company is almost like At&t. Monopolistic in their service. Their term of service is written like in Junior High School. There is nothing mature about their TOS. I used to be a customer of this company. They tried to imput a judgement on me. I am going to require all customers to unite to let the elected officials know that customers rule, not companies or corporations. If it weren't for the customers, they would not be in business. We as Americans need legislation banning the use of contract to trap individuals into a binding agreement. This must be at-will agreement. They have written into their contract that if a customer is behind. They can be sued in court. I find that this is very deceptive, this is a reason why USA is in a terrible crisis right now. Contract this and Contract that and so on. We need to revert back to the basics.
I don;t know where they got a license to operate in Milam County. Its pretty obvious the county needs to clean up the business practice to insure the public is getting the value for their hard earned dollars.
The president of the Farm-Market, L.L.C, You need to sit down and see what this company is doing. First of all, I am going to make sure a law is passed banning forms of contracts for ISP. I used to be with ATT and had no contract. They provided just as good service as the FMB provided. Very seldom the service went down without notice. You need to shop for cheaper bandwidth, and get rid of the high priced bandwith. The prices need to drop for people who has no internet. This way we as Americans get the USA back on its feet.
Sales dept. You do an outstanding job, you need to be upfront with numbers, I have found deceptive practice in the phone call. It was stated that it was only going to be 62.95 in February. Now got a bill in email that is excessive like 189.00 or something like that. Thanks for the decieving tactic.
Tech support personell, Named Kristi, Thank you for hanging up on me when I am seeking assistance while the service was down. I will make sure this gets out to the public who depends on the internet for good business reference. This is very bad in rough economic times.
To those who read this, do your research on the web before you sign up for internet service. This is my only solid advice I can give anyone who lives in Milam county
