I recently came across an auction item in ebay. I sent an email to the seller Roy ([email protected]) and got a link back for a laptop deal. The link took me to www.laptopcircles.com. This site turned out to a complete fraud, which I realized after paying $86. I am filing another complaint on www.laptopcircles.com
When I emailed Ebay and told them that I wanted to file a bad review about this seller, they wouldn't let me because they pulled the item out of auction (for reasons they won't disclose).
They said you are not allowed to write reviews about items that were pulled out of the auction. This is ridiculous because many other customers are going to trust this seller for future auctions and lose the money. They said they may take action against the seller, but they won't disclose it to me!
That's even more ridiculous because you never know if they took any action. For all you know, they would not have because the seller brings in revenue to Ebay! Half the sellers on Ebay are complete frauds and Ebay does nothing about it. I filed for a refund with Ebay and Ebay owned Paypal and both of them refused to refund any money. I filed another complaint about Paypal.
