I have been cheated by a seller on eBay. Because I filed a claim using PayPal, the seller has caused me all kinds of grief as well as leaving bad feedback for me. I was told by eBay that the only way for me to get the bad feedback removed was to use Square Trade. I completed all the forms for Square Trade and then at the very end was told I had to pay $29.95! I was so shocked! Why would I have to pay eBay's Square Trade to investigate what eBay is allowing? I did not pay the money so the bad feedback will remain on my acct. I have reported this seller to eBay and PayPal. EBay doesn't seem at all interested in the fact that the seller was actually selling items out of a company's catalog he had not interest in whatsoever. Every complaint I have filed seems to fall on deaf ears. Then I think I have help in the form of Square Trade - what a joke that is! Why should I have to pay that kind of money for something that eBay should have been monitoring to begin with. Where is eBay's liability in allowing these thieves to operate on their auction sight? They have no liability whatsoever. They are in it for the money. The buyer is of no importance to them at all because the buyer doesn't pay them anything; the seller does, so therefore, the seller seems to have the upper hand regardless.
